You don’t owe your past anything

So many people are living today as prisoners of yesterday. They carry the weight of past failures, past mistakes, past relationships, and past wounds into every new season God is trying to open for them. But the truth is simple and liberating. You do not owe your past anything. The price for every mistake, every sin, and every failure was fully paid on the cross of Calvary. Jesus did not die so that you would spend the rest of your life apologizing for who you used to be.

God is not calling you back to what was. He is calling you forward into what is possible. The same God who parted the Red Sea, who raised Lazarus from the dead, and who turned water into wine is the same God who is standing at the door of your future right now. Your past does not define your destiny. It does not determine your capacity. It does not limit what God can do through a life fully surrendered to Him. Drop the weight. Release the guilt. Let go of the shame. You are not who you were. You are who God says you are, and He says you are called, chosen, and destined to subdue nations for His glory.
