The Holy Scriptures We believe the Scriptures are inspired by God and declare His design and plan for mankind. The Bible is our final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
The One True God We believe in one true God, eternally revealed in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — the blessed Trinity.
The Deity of Jesus Christ We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. As God’s Son, Jesus was both fully human and fully divine, the express image of the Father sent to redeem mankind.
The Fall of Man We believe that man was originally created good, but willingly fell to sin, ushering evil and death — both physical and spiritual — into the world.
Salvation We believe every person can have restored fellowship with God through salvation. By trusting in Christ through faith and repentance, we receive His gift of eternal life. We practice two ordinances: Water Baptism by immersion following repentance, and Holy Communion as a symbolic remembrance of Christ’s suffering and death for our salvation.
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit We believe the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a special experience following salvation that empowers believers for witnessing and effective service, just as it did in New Testament times.
Speaking in Tongues We believe the initial physical evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues, as experienced on the Day of Pentecost and referenced throughout the Acts of the Apostles and the Epistles.
Sanctification We believe sanctification begins at salvation and is a progressive, lifelong process of separating from evil as believers continually draw closer to God and become more Christ-like in every area of life.
The Mission of the Church We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, consisting of all people throughout time who have accepted God’s offer of redemption through the sacrificial death of His Son Jesus Christ. The mission of the Church is to seek and save all who are lost in sin, regardless of denomination.
The Fivefold Ministry We believe in a divinely called and scripturally ordained fivefold ministry of Apostle, Prophet, Teacher, Pastor, and Evangelist. Each believer under leadership is called to reach others for Christ, worship Him with fellow believers, build up the Body of Christ, and meet human needs with love and compassion.
The Blessed Hope We believe in the Blessed Hope — the imminent return of Jesus Christ, who will rapture His Church before His second coming. At that moment, all believers who have died will rise, and those alive will be caught up together with them to be with the Lord forever.
The Millennial Reign of Christ We believe in the Millennial Reign of Christ, when Jesus returns with His saints and establishes His benevolent rule over the earth for one thousand years, bringing the salvation of national Israel and universal peace.
Final Judgment We believe a final judgment will take place for all who have rejected Christ. They will be judged for their sin and consigned to eternal punishment in the lake of fire.
The New Heavens and New Earth We believe in and look forward to the perfect New Heavens and New Earth that Christ is preparing for all people of all time who have accepted Him. We will live and dwell with Him there forever. And so shall we forever be with the Lord.
