Pastor David Katende is the founding and Lead Pastor of Life Changing Church, located in Ndejje–Lubowa off Entebbe Road in Kampala, Uganda. He is a passionate teacher of God’s Word whose ministry is dedicated to helping people discover their God-given purpose and live lives that honor Christ.
Pastor David made a personal commitment to follow Jesus Christ at the age of fifteen.
Since then, God has entrusted him with a unique teaching and pastoral ministry that has touched and transformed many lives both locally and internationally. Through his strong teaching anointing and pastoral heart, he has guided countless people to discover their calling and grow in their relationship with God.
As a leader, Pastor David is committed to equipping believers to live out their faith practically and to pursue excellence in their spiritual walk. His ministry focuses on spiritual growth, purposeful living, worship, and the restoration of biblical values within individuals, families, and the wider community.
Pastor David is also an accomplished Christian author. His books include Exploiting Your Potential, Effective Listening, Fatherhood in the Body of Christ, 21st Century Christian Return to Righteousness, Heart of Worship, Men Where Are You?, and Studying the Consequences. Through these writings, he continues to inspire believers to grow in faith, character, and purpose.
Through Life Changing Church, Pastor David remains devoted to raising disciples, strengthening families, and expanding the Kingdom of God by teaching believers to live lives fully surrendered to Christ.
